Mark 3:23- strongly suggests exactly that Satan is *not* divided, and is running a pretty tight ship, everything considered. I refer to him as "the second best chess player in the universe". Not at all dumb, but not gonna win either.

(Revelation 12:12, AV) “‭...Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.”

Buckle up, folks, and check your chin straps, if'n y'ain't already...

Well, if we interpret what the Lord's teaching us in this from strictly a worldly perspective, it may appear that way. In any case, the teaching isn't literally about Satan, but rather Satan's the illustration with which the Lord's explaining to us that evil means can't be used to cast out evil. The "divided house" parable is the image with which he explains how evil as a spiritual power can't cast evil out, because evil can't cast out evil; because a house divided against itself can't stand; and trying to use evil to cast out evil is like Satan casting out himself, which isn't possible. And it could be argued Satan *is* divided against himself: his sociopathic pride is his own downfall. But, in the end, we always have to remember it may be Satan's scheme, but it's God's plan.
